The heat is on and if you’re anything like me, you may be noticing a change in your skin with the change of the weather… Some people get dryer skin in the summer, but I tend to experience more oily skin when it’s hot outside. It doesn’t help that I’m slathering on sunscreen and though it doesn’t happen often, I occasionally get a breakout in the summer months. This almost never happens to me in winter. I also have an on-going issue with skin congestion, something I blame on living in a big city since it was never an issue for me before. The bigger the city, the dirtier the air… I would be silly to think that wouldn’t effect my skin in some way.
Whatever your skin type, it’s nice to cool down from time to time when the heat starts to get unbearable and I’ve found the perfect cleanser for that. Spa Technologies Revitalising Cleanser is packed with peppermint, rosemary, lavender and sage, the perfect cooling down cocktail after a long day’s work. These ingredients are there to stimulate micro-circulation in the skin for a revitalized glow, but the bonus is a tingly, cool cleanse. It also happens to be most suitable for oily or congested skin.
There’s no denying this product’s algae green color, however don’t let that stop you from trying it. Simply rub onto damp skin and massage, then remove with a wet sponge or cloth. Even though it’s green, it’s not gross, I promise! I find that I only really need 1 pump to clean my face, but sometimes when it’s hot or I want a bit of a deeper clean, I go for a cheeky second pump. Though it may seem a bit pricey at £25 for a cleanser, I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks off and on and have hardly made a dent in the bottle, so it seems to be good value for money.
Spa Technologies Revitalising Sea Cleanse is suitable for vegans and vegetarians, contains no sulphates, sulfides, MI or parabens, it’s hypo-allergenic and available online via Spa Technologies UK.
